October 24-25, 2009: open house

It’s time to come join us for another beautiful fall day at Pacheco Ranch as we open our doors to you for our Fall Open House event. We will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th, from 11am to 4pm, so please come join us in celebrating our wines. We will be featuring several local artists at the event as well as pouring a selection of library wines. There will also be several gift baskets available for purchase, a great gift for the holiday season.
The Open House is the perfect time to join our Wine Club for which you will be able to purchase our wines at a discounted price. We will also be holding a special holiday event for our wine club members so now is the perfect time to signup. September 19, 2009: Harvest

At last! With the help of all of our closest family and friends, we have had yet another successful harvest. In a single day, we were able to pick and press grapes from all of our vineyards, including select vines for our future Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. September 11, 2009: Vertical Tasting at Monterey Street Wine Co. in SLO

Next Friday evening, we will be pouring our hearts out for everyone at the Monterey Street Wine Company in San Luis Obispo! We will have a vertical tasting of our 2001-2004 Cabernet Sauvignon vintages. Come, sit down, relax, and share in the experience of great wine and good times! See you there!!

August, 2009: Harvest is approaching!

So many grapes, so little time! As late September draws near, we are constantly checking all of vines for the perfect time to pick! We are looking forward to yet another bountiful harvest to share with our friends and family!

June, 2009: san francisco international Wine Competition

The PRW 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded yet another a Bronze Medal at the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition! For more information on the wine, click here.

Past News and Events...

February, 2009 - January 2010: Marin History Museum

On Friday February 13th the 'Growing the Future: Farming Families in Marin' Exhibit at the Marin History Museum will open to the public. To this day Pacheco Ranch Winery is an important part of farming in Marin that dates back to the 1800s. February, 2009: Ignacio Wine Club Installment

Our next semiannual PRW Ignacio Wine Club shipment will be available for pickup at the end of this month. For more information about our wine club, please contact us.

January , 2009: San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

In the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the PRW 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded a Silver Medal. PRW will be pouring the 2003 cab at the SFCWC public tasting on February 28th.
